Orange Envelope - About us and our research


Oranžová obálka (Orange Envelope) is a result of several years of research and development. Oranžová obálka as a web-based app works with the state-of-art stochastic microsimulation model, which has been created by researchers standing behind the Orange Envelope project.

Chief Executive Officer

Daniela is responsible for the strategic decisions and development of the „Orange Envelope“. She is a co-author of the demographic module of the microsimulation model. In her research, she focuses on demographic aspects of the pension and social policies with the quantification of policies impacts on economic agents. She has been involved in several behavioral researches in the area of financial decision-making.

Ivan Králik
Ivan Králik
Chief Technology Officer

Ivan is a co-author of the Orange Envelope microsimulation model and responsible for the technological aspects of the portal. He serves as a researcher at the Matej Bel University. He was a member of many research and development teams oriented on personal finance management and investment strategies. He is an expert in information technologies connected with the FinTech world.

Ján Šebo
Ján Šebo
Chief Research Officer

Jan is a co-author of the Orange Envelope microsimulation model. He serves as an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics at Matej Bel University. He is a member of the expert group FSUG at the European Commission and focuses on retirement and long-term savings products. He has managed many domestic and international research teams in the area of pension systems, wealth management and investment strategies. Is is a life-time member of the Americal Association of Individual Investors. He has published many research studies in the area of pension policy, pension economics and finance.

CRM specialist

Katarina is responsible for the relations with users, marketing and promotion of the „Orange Envelope“. Professionaly, she focuses on modern CRM and online marketing tools. She organizes behavioral surveys and moves the portal towards automatized communication with users. She is a valuable expert in the online marketing and customer relations.

Igor Melicherčík
Research Expert

Igor was the key memeber of the team developing the microsimulation model of pension system in Slovakia. He serves as an associate professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Comenius University in Bratislava. His research work with focus on pension economics and finance has been published in many top-ranked journals.

Research Expert

Pavel is an expert in the investment based and credit based financial products. He has been analyzing Slovak market with financial products since 2000. He serves as a researcher and assistant at the Faculty of Business Management at University of Economics in Bratislava. He is an author of many research studies oriented on investing, credit products and personal finance management.
